Came across this movie trailer while I was on youtube.
It looks like a really good film. The concept is pretty original and it could be pretty amazing if it's executed well. What are your thoughts?

I like the idea of 1 day a year anything goes, all crime is legal, should be a pretty brutal movie. What happens to people in prison tho, do they get let out for the day? Lol Free day for all rapists, murderers and thieves ...

Seems like a fun movie to watch, not sure it will make any sense at all though, apparently having 1 day a year in which crime is legal more people have jobs and crime is at an all time low.

Yeah I'm just wondering where they take this. I hope it's not just revolving around the people in the house for the full movie but people around the city and what they are doing too. I'm not sure lol, them people prolly stay in prison because they committed crimes that were not on that day? Hmm idk lol.

Yeah I agree, the logic isn't really there. I thought the same thing when I first seen the trailer. But eh..movies. Watchu gonna do lol? Should be an interesting movie to watch though, just to see how it pans out and everything.

I also have this hope. As much potential as this movie has, I'd lay bets it'll suck balls because let's face it; directors and screenwriters just don't have the heart they used to.

I liked the idea of the film - but focused way to much on just the house location (I figured it would be like Escape from New York and out on the streets more) - So I liked it okay, but wouldn't buy it. Purge 2 from what I see so far may be more "external" and I hope so - lots of potential for the plot basis of the move
